Alan Davidson BA (hons)
Alan brings over 20 years of experience in the charity and social enterprise sectors, with a particular focus on leadership, fundraising, and project management. He founded and led the Bridge Community Project in West Lothian for 10 years, growing it from an initial idea into a well-respected organisation supporting hundreds of people each year with emotional and financial wellbeing services.
He has worked with a wide range of organisations, from small grassroots charities and local housing associations to UK-wide charities.
Alan has extensive experience in securing income from trusts and foundations, government grants, local authority funding,Lottery programmes and major donors, and has raised millions to support front-line delivery and organisational growth.Having led a small charity, he understands the pressures facing the sector and brings a practical, collaborative approach to building sustainable funding models.
Outside of work, he spends time with his family, enjoys hill walking, and runs a small creative laser business.
